Windows 11: March Patch Tuesday fixes numerous bugs for all versions

Patch Tuesday for March 2024 is here. Windows 11 updates all its versions with all kinds of bug fixes and 60 security vulnerabilities, some of them critical.

Windows users know that something special happens every second Tuesday of the month. It's called Patch Tuesday, a big monthly update that fixes as many security flaws and bugs as possible on Windows, but also on other Microsoft products you may own on your computer. The March 2024 update has arrived for Windows 11 and concerns all versions, with a specific numbering for one of them:

Windows 11 21H2: KB5035854.

Windows 11 22H2: KB5035853.

Windows 11 23H2: KB5035853.

Remember that this is a cumulative update. In other words, it incorporates patches from previous updates. But don't worry: the system takes into account those already installed, and only adds new ones to avoid duplication.

MARCH 2024 TUESDAY PATCH FIXES NUMEROUS BUGS FOR ALL VERSIONS OF WINDOWS 11

In total, this March update corrects 60 security flaws, including 2 considered critical by Microsoft. Among the bugs it puts an end to is one that affected Windows 11 22H2 update KB5034848. Installation of this update stalled at 96% and then aborted, with Windows displaying an error message. Patch Tuesday also corrects the problem that prevented users from launching the troubleshooting utility via the Get Help application under Windows 11 21H2.
